Football Canberra are proud to announce that multiple-Championship winning Coach, Frank Cachia, will join the United Kingdom 2026 Tour as Coach of the inaugural U21 Women’s Team.
Cachia, an Australia A-Licence holder, is well-known amongst the football community in Canberra, having led Canberra Olympic team on an epic run to the 2016 Australia Cup Semi-Finals, and was crowned Champions with Monaro Panthers in a sensational treble-winning year.

Football Canberra are delighted to announce that Harry Menzies will join the United Kingdom 2026 Tour as Boys Coordinator. Harry holds the AFC B Diploma in Football and both the Certificate in Strength and Conditioning and Goalkeeper Coaching qualifications. Harry is a PE and Exercise Science Teacher which included a teaching and coaching role with Radford College and their NPL 15s team. Harry was involved in coaching Radford College U15's and the start up of one of Canberra's newest clubs, Yarabi FC and was football coordinator for 3 years.
Harry recently moved back to his hometown to take on the role of Technical Director of Yamba Football Club and launch the Clarence Football Academy in Northern NSW.

Football Canberra is delighted to announce that Michaela Thornton will join the UK Tour in January 2026 as the team Physiotherapist.
Michaela is an accomplished physiotherapist, business owner, and elite athlete with extensive experience in the fields of fitness, exercise science, physiotherapy, strength and conditioning and sports medicine.
Michaela has supported top teams such as Canberra United (A-League Women), the Canberra United Academy, Canberra Cavalry (ABL) and is currently working with the Canberra Raiders NRLW.
Her academic background includes a Bachelor in Exercise Science, a Masters degree in Physiotherapy, and further accreditation with Sports Medicine Australia.
She holds APA Levels 1 & 2 in Sports Physiotherapy, a Graduate Certificate in High Performance Sport, and a FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine.
Athletically, Michaela has held scholarships with ACTAS and the AIS and has represented Australia as a Young Matilda and Australian Schoolgirls. She played professionally for the Canberra Eclipse, and Canberra United, has competed internationally in futsal, and is a current member of the Australian National Futsal Team.
Her domestic honours include 12 National Premier League Championships, 10 Grand Final titles, eight Team of the Year selections, three Julie Dolan Awards, and an ACT Athlete of the Year award.
